Hey Kovs, Tell us About yourself.
Well, my name’s Konstantin, that’s “K” in short, and I love Twitter and Wordpress . I’m a web developer since 2002 or so. More info on the about page: Kovshenin – About
What is Kovshenin About ? & What does it mean ?
Kovshenin is my last name, I’m Russian. I’m not sure what it means, never thought about that. Will do tho, great idea!
What are you working on atm?
I’m currently working on the public beta 2 version of Foller.me which is a Twitter service I created last month. The new version’s a total surprise, but it will include some fun stuff, I promise. Gotta deal with MySQL optimization & fine-tuning though, that’s where I’m stuck.
Tell me something about WordPress.
Wordpress is cool and you gotta develop plugins to get in the game. Themes are for kids You also gotta switch to the 2.9 branch on your personal blog, that makes you the man.
What makes you love programming over designing ?
I love designing too, but my love to programming affects my overall designing tastes. I love simplicity and functionality. I don’t draw too much though, it’s about 5% drawing and 95% coding. Not sure about the reason I chose coding…
What do you blog about, at Kovshenin.com ?
oh.. well I blog about anything that gets into my head. most of the time it’s dev stuff like Wordpress tips and tricks, plugins updates, announcements & etc. linux stuff (mostly for not forgetting things myself, lol) and some other topics like iphone, blogging, social media and robotics.
What would you like to say about the young or new programmers ?
To the young programmers. Do not learn frameworks before knowing the language. It’s dangerous.
