Comment Plugins for WordPress

Plugins are what make WordPress famous.  Different plugins are used for different jobs..  for more functionality and accessibilities. Here I’m sharing with you guys some Plugins which help gain more comments make them more user friendly, and usable.

Comment Attractors:

CommentLuv

Now thats really a great plugin. This plugin motivates Blog owners to comment more and more, because this plugin show your latest blog post at the end of your comment.

Top Commentators:

This plugin helps you showing the Top Commentators in the sidebar with the help of a widget.  That creates a fight between Comment Authors to comment more and more to reach the high level. :D

Commentwitter

Gives commentators the option of Tweeting their comment with a link to your post.

Get Recent  Comments:

This plugin shows excerpts of the latest comments and/or trackbacks in your sidebar.

Support:

Akismet

Yeah I know its not really connected to comments, but just to get a relief from spams. I prefer to use Akismet, Best plugin to kick your Spam Comments out !

Comment Approved Notifier

This plugin sends an e-mail to your commentator that his Comment has been approved. It has two advantages, One is that it pings the comment author again about the Blog so that he may come back again. Second, he’s informed his comment his approved so he may want to come back and check.

Subscribe To Comments:

Allows readers to receive notifications of new comments that are posted to an entry.

WordPress Thread Comment

It enables users to reply on a existing comment, and the discussion will be displayed threaded or nested.

Gravatar Signup

Allows commentators to sign up for a Gravatar by clicking a check-box directly from the Comment form.

@ Reply

This plugin allows you to add Twitter-like @reply links to comments

Dofollow

The dofollow plugin for WordPress lets you remove the evil nofollow attribute from your comments.

Twitter Links Plus+

Checks Twitter usernames mentioned in the content and in the comments (eg. @tquizzle) with the Twitter service to see if that user is indeed a Twitter

Beautifull Comments:

This plugin lets you use Gravatar, MyBlogLog, OpenAvatar, Wavatar, Identicon, monsterID or Favico.ico files with your comments. But thats not all, scroll down to see what else this plugin does for your site

IntenseDebate:

This Plugin completely changes your Comment area looks. This IntenseDebate system uses Ajax to Rate, Write and Reply to comments.  You can manage all your Comments, Trackbacks, Spams by loging into your IntenseDebate Account from their website.
